And not just for the bullish real-estate market variety. The Catalonian parliament has declared that bullfighting will be banned in Catalunia from 2012. While not being a clear majority vote (48% were against the ban), it does send a clear signal of change in the attitudes of Spanish people and will hopefully spread to other regions too. We expect Andalucia to be the last to accept such a ban, given their history, but the pressure is surely felt nevertheless.

Consultant: Alan Rhodes FRICS Sadly Alan has recently passed away, he was a great friend and will be missed by us all.  With over 30 years experience in property Alan is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and Specializes in land and measured building surveys. Originally from Birmingham Alan also spent time living and working in the Caribbean, at present he operates a highly successful practice based in Fulham, London where he spends most of his time when not in Marbella consulting for Los Arqueros Estates. Sales Manager: Costas Hadjisotiriou Costas has been on the Costa del Sol since 1999 and has worked with Ian in IT and sales for 6 years, working now for Los Arqueros Estates on a technical level and commercial level. With his technical skills and his ability to speak Spanish, Italian, German, Greek and English he is invaluable to the company. Office Manager: Ruth Cooper After graduating from Sheffield University Ruth worked for Cardiff Council as a researcher assistant in the policy office, followed by a Postgraduate diploma at the London School of Journalism whilst working as an Assistant Producer at Sky Sports Television on Premiership football programming. Marketing Team: Redline Company Line Lyster works closely with with the Los Arqueros Estates Team and other professionals in order to provide a complete sales & marketing service in creative print & design. |
